About us

We are Adwaita Mission Training College at Mandar Vidyapith, Bounsi, Banka, Bihar. Founded in 2006, our teacher-education institution forms part of the educational work begun by Mandar Vidyapith in 1945 under Anand Shankar Madhavan. We are recognised by NCTE and affiliated to Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University and the Bihar School Examination Board for the relevant programmes. In 2007 we became an IGNOU B.Ed. programme study centre. Our purpose includes preparing teachers for communities in the wider rural region, including underserved groups. Our academic and administrative appointments contribute to the professional preparation of future educators.
