About Alliance International School Banur

We are Alliance International School in Banur, Punjab, established in 2015 in memory of the late Shri Raghu Nath Rai Garg. Our founding philosophy recognises the whole child, bringing academic, moral, physical and spiritual development into the same educational purpose. We are a CBSE school managed by Shivalik Foundations, with affiliation number 1631039. Our campus is situated in Sector 8, Ram Nagar, on the Chandigarh–Patiala highway, giving the school a distinct setting within the Banur area.

Our campus extends over more than five acres and includes four main blocks within a green environment. Classrooms are supported by smart-learning resources and a library. These facilities provide different ways for pupils to encounter and explore ideas, from a visual explanation in class to reading and independent reference work. We recognise that learners have different strengths and questions, and our educational outlook gives attention to curiosity, confidence and the development of understanding.

Practical technology has a place in the school through robotics and innovation activities beginning from Class III. Building and testing a model connects an idea with a result that can be observed and improved. Such experiences give children opportunities to develop problem-solving habits through action. The arts are supported by an auditorium with seating for approximately 500 people, providing a setting for drama, dance, music and shared cultural occasions. Performance brings preparation, expression and collaboration into school life.

Sporting facilities include basketball, volleyball, skating, athletics and swimming. These activities complement academic study and allow pupils to experience different forms of challenge and achievement. Hostel provision and transport services support the practical arrangements around education, extending the school’s reach beyond its immediate neighbourhood.
