Alva’s Education Foundation (AEF) is an educational institution established in 1995 under the leadership of Dr. M. Mohan Alva with the vision of providing quality education and contributing to social development. Based in Moodubidire, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, the foundation has developed a broad educational ecosystem covering multiple academic disciplines and levels of education.

The foundation operates a diverse range of educational institutions, offering programmes across areas such as engineering, management, nursing, physiotherapy, medical laboratory technology, naturopathy and yogic sciences, physical education, social sciences, commerce, science, and other fields. It also operates schools and pre-university institutions, providing educational opportunities from school-level education through postgraduate studies.

Alva’s Education Foundation places strong emphasis on academic learning along with cultural activities, sports, discipline, and personality development. Its educational philosophy aims to develop students with positive thinking, self-discipline, punctuality, cultural awareness, patriotism, and respect for different traditions. The foundation integrates academic programmes with extracurricular and cultural activities to provide students with a broader educational experience.

The institution also provides opportunities for students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds through its free education and adoption initiatives. Eligible students with achievements in academics, sports, and cultural activities, along with students from certain economically and socially disadvantaged communities, can receive educational support under the foundation's adoption scheme. Alva’s also operates a free Kannada-medium school and a special school supporting children with disabilities.

Sports and cultural development are another important part of the foundation's educational approach. Alva’s supports sports aspirants through dedicated coaching and educational opportunities, while various cultural initiatives provide students with exposure to music, dance, theatre, literature, traditional arts, and other creative disciplines. These programmes are designed to encourage students to develop their talents beyond conventional academics.

Alva’s Education Foundation also contributes to employment and career development through Alva’s Pragati, an annual job fair that connects candidates with companies across sectors. The initiative is designed to create employment opportunities, particularly for rural and underprivileged youth.
