About Anandi School Gurugram

We are Anandi School Gurugram, a developing school community with an educational model centred on inquiry, reflection and experiences beyond the classroom. Our approach connects academic foundations with the practical world, recognising that children learn through questions, relationships and purposeful activity. We are building a Gurugram school identity within the wider Anandi educational initiative, with attention to individual learning journeys and the development of confident, thoughtful young people.

The planned 4+1 Field Model gives one day each week to mentor-guided work beyond conventional subject lessons. Field projects are intended to connect disciplines around real questions and outcomes. This structure encourages learners to investigate, make decisions and present what they have understood. Academic learning during the rest of the week provides the knowledge and methods that can be used and reconsidered through those experiences.

Our international educational direction draws on the IB approach to inquiry, action and reflection. The learning model gives importance to conceptual understanding, links between subjects and assessment through varied forms of work. Portfolios, projects, performances and feedback are intended to make development visible. Individual mentorship and student-led conferences help children recognise their progress and take a more active role in explaining their learning.

The proposed primary programme gives particular importance to concepts and connections across subjects. Mentoring and reflection are intended to help children explain their choices, understand feedback and recognise how their work develops over time.

Wellbeing and wider participation are part of the school being developed. Counselling, wellness routines, arts, sport, clubs and community service are designed to support academic learning and personal growth together. We recognise that children need both challenge and a sense of belonging. Our purpose is to connect the future of education with the changing world in which learners will live, while respecting their individuality now. The Gurugram community, the planned field-learning model and an inquiry-led academic approach form the foundation of the Anandi experience we are building.
