To empower the faculty and students with the knowledge, skills and innovative thinking to facilitate discovery in numerous existing and yet to be discovered fields of engineering, technology and interdisciplinary endeavors.

Our Mission is to impart the quality education at par with global standards to the students from all over India and in particular those from the local and rural areas.

We continuously try to maintain high standards so as to make them technologically competent and ethically strong individuals who shall be able to improve the quality of life and economy of our country.

The College is situated a little away from the din and bustle of Bapatla, a medium size town with a historic and hoary past, about 75 km. south of Vijayawada on Chennai - Vijayawada rail route.

1. Bapatla Engineering College (Autonomous) is one of the seven Educational Institutions founded and run by BAPATLA EDUCATION SOCIETY
2. The society was established in the year 1962 registered No:58/1962 under societies act XXI of 1860
3. Accrediated by NBA of AICTE & NAAC.
4. The College became AUTONOMOUS in the academic Year 2010 - 11.
5. The college is selected as a Network Institute for the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) of the Ministry of Human Resources Development and the World Bank.
6. The College established Research Centers: Siemens COE, Bosch-Rexroth COE, Robotic Technology Center, CIIE - Center for Innovation Incubation & Enterpreneurship
7. The College has Student Activities - IETE Student Forum, CSI, ACE, Collosseum, Module, Electrage, Spark, ELICIT, CEA, Scope, AWAAZ, EISAAA, SKIFUN, iVision, CCA, SAC.
