We are Delhi Public School Ruby Park, Kolkata, established in 2003 by the OmDayal Group under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society. Our school follows the CBSE curriculum and serves children through junior and high-school settings in the Ruby Park area. The junior school is at Kasba Rathtala, while the high school is at 254 Shanti Pally on the R. B. Connector. These locations form part of one educational community with a shared academic purpose.
Our approach connects subject learning with life skills, creative thinking and the ability to work confidently in different situations. Academic preparation includes the foundations needed for board examinations and later study. We recognise that progress also depends on how children learn: the questions they ask, the care they bring to practice and the connections they make between ideas. Classroom learning is therefore supported by a wider programme of participation and exploration.
Our school activities include music, art, dance, drama, quizzes, public speaking and sport. Literary, environmental, quiz and social-service clubs give pupils different ways to contribute. The Social Service and Interact Club connects school life with community needs, while the Eco Club encourages awareness of environmental responsibility. Literary activities and the school magazine provide settings for reading, writing and expression. Inter-school and inter-DPS events extend these experiences beyond the campus.
Our school assemblies recognise occasions including Rabindra Jayanti, national days and different cultural festivals. This range gives children a shared setting for expression and an opportunity to understand the diversity represented within the school community.
Guidance for senior students includes interaction with universities in India and abroad, helping learners understand courses and future educational choices. Professional learning for educators supports continuing development in subject knowledge and teaching methods. Our school’s history and activities reflect an education intended to develop both competence and character. At DPS Ruby Park, the CBSE academic pathway, the OmDayal educational community and a broad culture of participation together support children as they prepare for further study and a wider role in society.
