About Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj
We are Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj, a coeducational CBSE institution in South Delhi. Established in 1994, we belong to the Delhi Public School Society’s core-school community. Our educational provision extends from the elementary years to senior secondary, bringing children at different stages of development together within a single school environment. Our ten-acre campus gives academic study, sport, creative work and shared school activities their own spaces. The location in Vasant Kunj connects this setting with the wider educational and cultural life of New Delhi.
Our academic blocks are supported by libraries and laboratories for Science, Mathematics, Computer Science and Fashion Technology. These resources give pupils ways to investigate a question, consult a reference, practise a technique and connect a classroom explanation with something they can observe or produce. A dedicated foreign-language room complements language learning. The different specialist spaces reflect the breadth of our educational programme: scientific reasoning, quantitative thinking, digital understanding, language and applied creativity all have a place in school life.
Our campus also includes rooms for Art, Music and Dance. They provide settings for preparation and practice as well as creative expression. The multipurpose hall inaugurated in October 2022 brought together an auditorium seating approximately 800 people, an all-weather swimming pool and indoor badminton and tennis courts. The auditorium offers a shared setting for the school community, while the indoor facilities extend opportunities for physical activity beyond the outdoor grounds. A gymnasium and extensive playing areas further support the sporting side of education.
Boarding accommodation forms another part of our campus, alongside the academic and activity areas. This combination of classrooms, laboratories, libraries, residential provision and performance spaces gives our school a varied daily life. Children encounter the school through reading and discussion, practical study, games, rehearsals and collective occasions. Our identity rests on this broad educational setting and on the continuity of a school that has served the Vasant Kunj community for more than three decades.
