About Excel Matriculation Higher Secondary School
We are Excel Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai. Our school is located on New Street in the Arjun Nagar–Cholapuram area, with postal code 600062. We form part of the local matriculation school community and provide education through the higher secondary stage. Our academic setting includes Commerce, Economics and Chemistry, alongside provision for younger children.
Our institutional background is associated with the Excel Educational Trust, established in March 1999 by S. A. Balakrishnan. The trust’s educational work has included schooling, free tuition and activities related to women and child development. This connection places our school within a broader local educational and social initiative.
Our identity is rooted in Thirumullaivoyal and the families around this part of Chennai. The progression from early learning to higher secondary education connects foundational language and numeracy with the more specialised subjects studied in the later school years. This local continuity is central to the educational setting we provide.
