About GEMS Millennium School Kalyan

We are GEMS Millennium School Kalyan, an upcoming ICSE school in the Greater Mumbai area. Our school is part of GEMS Education’s Indian network and is preparing for the 2027–28 academic session. The school’s planned provision starts from age two and extends through the primary and middle years. Our approach recognises that children show potential in different ways and connects the group’s educational experience with an Indian school context. Our current Principal appointment is central to the launch. We seek an experienced school leader, ideally with ICSE or Cambridge experience, who can join immediately and help establish the academic and organisational life of the school. A record of leading teams and achieving educational outcomes is important. We invite candidates who can bring judgement, energy and an understanding of what needs to be built before a new school opens to families.

• Translate educational priorities into workable plans for the relevant school stage, with clear responsibilities and follow-up.
• Support teachers through discussion of planning, classroom practice and assessment, using evidence of pupil learning to identify development needs.
• Coordinate academic schedules, resources and communication so that day-to-day arrangements support the intended learning programme.
• Work with families and colleagues on concerns that affect pupil progress and participation, maintaining a clear and respectful approach.
• Review the effectiveness of agreed actions and communicate progress, unresolved issues and practical next steps to the appropriate school leaders.
