n 1977, the late Dr. P.C. Thomas and Mrs. Elsamma Thomas founded Good Shepherd International School (GSIS). What began as the Good Shepherd Public School transformed into a renowned international co-educational institution in 1995. Driven by their passion for education, both founders dedicated their careers to nurturing young minds.
Today, GSIS stands as a testament to their commitment to providing a nurturing space for growth and learning. At the heart of GSIS lies our unwavering motto: “Truth, Trust, and Triumph.” This motto guides our students to embrace secular and ethical values in an inclusive atmosphere that fosters growth, learning, and harmony.
Dr. P.C. Thomas believed in continuous education, preparing generations for the future. GSIS offers a variety of academic and extracurricular activities that ensure holistic development, providing individual attention and comfort for every student.
The P.C. Thomas Foundation was registered on May 26, 2000, further extending his vision of service to society.
Elsamma Thomas, the esteemed co-founder of Good Shepherd International School, dedicated her vision and passion to shaping the school into a premier institution. Now retired, she has entrusted the future of GSIS to her son, Jacob and daughter-in-law, Sara, who carry forward her commitment to excellence. Her husband and co-founder, the late P.C. Thomas was instrumental in establishing the school’s foundation and values, which continue to guide GSIS today. Their legacy lives on through the leadership and dedication of the next generation.
