About GRD Academy Dehradun

We are GRD Academy at Niranjanpur, Dehradun, an initiative of the GRD Educational Trust. Our school is a CBSE senior secondary institution with affiliation number 3530303. We aim to make education accessible to children in Dehradun and the surrounding area, with attention to academic learning, values and individual talent. Our campus includes classrooms and science and computer laboratories that support work beyond textbook explanation. Our current appointments bring together Sociology, Physical Education, primary teaching and CBSE coordination, alongside practical and creative fields including art and craft, woodwork and brass band. • Demonstrate movement and technique clearly, using progressive practice to develop coordination, control and confidence.
• Organise space, equipment and groups carefully, with attention to warm-up, safe participation and the condition of facilities.

For PGT Sociology, our work centres on social enquiry and understanding of institutions.

• Help learners examine social concepts, institutions and processes through examples and evidence, avoiding unsupported generalisations.
• Develop comparison of different perspectives and explanations, with attention to the context in which a social pattern occurs.
• Use reading, discussion and suitable enquiry tasks to connect sociological language with observation and reasoned argument.
