About Hilton’s School

We are Hilton’s School in the Majra area of Dehradun, an English-medium, coeducational institution established in 1972. Our school follows the CISCE pathway, with education from Nursery through Grade XII and preparation for ICSE and ISC. This continuity brings foundational learning, primary education and the more specialised subjects of the senior years into a single school community. Our long-standing presence in Dehradun is an important part of the institution’s identity.

Our educational outlook considers physical, mental and emotional wellbeing alongside academic achievement. Discipline, values and social responsibility form part of the school’s approach to personal development. Children encounter these ideas through the routines and relationships of school life as well as through formal learning. We aim to support pupils as they gain knowledge, become more independent and learn to consider the effects of their choices on other people.

The campus includes a playground where pupils can participate in sporting and physical activities. Our facilities include a library, Computer laboratory and Science learning spaces, with transport and first-aid arrangements supporting the practical side of school life. Reading, practical subject work and digital learning complement classroom explanation. Our Majra community connects the experiences of younger learners with those preparing for senior examinations and later study.
