We are the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Our campus is at Karoor, Valavoor, near Pala in Kottayam district, Kerala. The institute provides an academic setting focused on information technology, computing and related engineering fields, with study extending from undergraduate programmes to postgraduate and doctoral education.

Our programme information includes Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Mathematics and Computing. Postgraduate routes include MTech programmes, integrated study and executive-oriented provision. The institute's research information covers faculty and student publications, research groups, project funding and international collaborations.

Student and academic resources include a library, campus network, hostels, medical facilities, sports facilities and a student cooperative mess. Technical activity is supported through an innovation cell, clubs, an IEEE student branch and an ACM student chapter. These features provide context for teaching and research across the institute's computing disciplines.

Our current contract-faculty recruitment concerns Computer Science and Engineering and CSE–Cyber Security, including interdisciplinary areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, deep learning, big-data analytics, software engineering and cyber forensics. Applicants with a completed PhD, or those who have submitted their thesis, may be considered under the stated conditions.

The recruitment creates a panel valid for one year, with deployment depending on institutional requirements. Empanelment alone does not guarantee an appointment. If offered, the teaching contract is initially for one year and may be renewed by mutual agreement according to performance and institutional need. Our careers page presents these conditions alongside the qualification requirements, remuneration and direct online application route, so applicants can understand both the academic opportunity and the limits of the contractual arrangement.
