We are J. S. Public School at Kharawan, Sadhoganj, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 2017, our school is managed by the Sai Vikas Sewa Trust and follows the Central Board of Secondary Education pathway. Our affiliation number is 2133122. We provide English-medium coeducational schooling from pre-nursery through Class XII, creating a continuous educational setting from the early years to senior secondary study.
Our senior secondary provision includes Science, Commerce and Arts. These pathways allow learners to develop different academic interests as they prepare for further education. The foundations for those choices begin much earlier, through language, numeracy and a broad understanding of school subjects. A school spanning the full age range connects the gradual development of basic skills with the more specialised work expected in the later years. This continuity is an important part of the experience we offer.
Subject laboratories support practical learning alongside classroom study. They give pupils opportunities to observe, work with materials and connect an explanation with a result. Practical activity can make a concept more concrete and help learners identify the questions they still need to explore. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities provide another dimension of school life, supporting movement, participation and the development of interests beyond academic lessons. These experiences help children encounter different forms of challenge and achievement.
Our educational outlook brings respect for tradition into conversation with contemporary thought. The school’s Varanasi setting gives this relationship a particular local context, while the CBSE curriculum provides a recognised structure for academic progression. We see education as a process of developing understanding and the ability to use it with confidence. Classroom learning, practical work, physical activity and the experience of belonging to a community all contribute to that process. Our identity is therefore grounded in a specific campus, the work of the Sai Vikas Sewa Trust and an educational pathway that supports children across their school years. We aim to help pupils build the foundations for continued study and thoughtful participation in the world around them.
