KITS Educational Institutions, officially known as Kamala Institute of Technology & Science (KITS), was established in 1997 with a vision to provide quality technical education to students in rural areas. Located in Singapur Village, near Huzurabad in Telangana, the institution was founded under the Kamala Education Society. It aims to nurture technically skilled and ethically grounded professionals who can contribute meaningfully to society.
Set in a peaceful and eco-friendly environment spread over nearly 11 hectares, the KITS campus offers state-of-the-art infrastructure that includes modern academic blocks, well-equipped laboratories, a central library, seminar halls, an auditorium, and dedicated facilities for sports and recreation. Separate hostels for boys and girls, along with staff quarters and guest houses, make it a fully residential institution conducive to focused learning and holistic development.
KITS is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, and is approved by AICTE. It has recently been granted UGC Autonomous Status for a ten-year term from the academic year 2023–24, a significant milestone that reflects its commitment to academic quality and autonomy in curriculum design.
The institution offers eight undergraduate B.Tech programs across various disciplines including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. With an annual intake of over 700 students, KITS emphasizes a student-centric approach to learning that combines theoretical instruction with practical application and project-based learning.
KITS has a strong placement track record, with students being recruited by top companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, and others. The college also partners with organizations like the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) to enhance employability through training and certification programs.
Driven by its motto "Vidvaan Sarvatra Pujyate" (A learned person is respected everywhere), KITS continues to empower students from diverse backgrounds with knowledge, skills, and values that prepare them for success in a competitive world
