About Little Flower High School Hyderabad

We are Little Flower High School in Abids, Hyderabad, founded in 1953 and associated with the Montfort Brothers educational tradition. Our approach brings classroom learning together with values, service and opportunities to discover individual talents. Project work, experiments and assignments help make the curriculum active, while audiovisual resources support explanation and participation. Literary, cultural and sporting activities are part of school life, with inter-house events giving children opportunities to contribute and take on challenges. We value cooperation between teachers and families. Our current high-school recruitment covers Mathematics, Physical Science, Drawing, Computer Science and student counselling. We seek trained graduates with experience who can contribute within this varied educational setting. For Maths Teacher, our work centres on mathematical reasoning and accurate problem solving.

• Build understanding of number, algebra, geometry and measurement at the level of the class, making the reasoning behind a method visible.
• Use worked examples and carefully sequenced questions to distinguish a conceptual misunderstanding from a calculation error.
• Connect symbolic work with diagrams, patterns and everyday quantities, then help learners explain how they reached an answer.

For Physical Science Teacher, our work centres on developing physical skills, safe participation and fair play.

• Plan physical learning and practice around the sport or activity named in the appointment and the abilities of the participants.
• Demonstrate movement and technique clearly, using progressive practice to develop coordination, control and confidence.
• Organise space, equipment and groups carefully, with attention to warm-up, safe participation and the condition of facilities.
