About Manavam School
We are Manavam School on Rajpath Rangoli Road in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a new educational initiative mentored by the Anand Niketan Group. Our academic direction is centred on Cambridge education, with an approach that values inquiry, connections between subjects and learning through experience. We are developing a school community in which children can explore ideas and become active participants in their own learning.
Our planned educational provision includes pre-primary, primary and middle-school stages. English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies form part of the middle-school programme. Creative and physical participation also have a place, with art and design, music, dance, drama, theatre and sport contributing to a broad educational experience.
We see the relationship between academic study and wider activity as important to children’s development. Inquiry encourages questions; interdisciplinary work helps learners connect ideas; experiential learning gives those ideas a practical setting. Our Ahmedabad identity, the mentorship of Anand Niketan and this educational direction together form the foundation of the school we are developing.
