About Us

Mary Matha High School & Jr. College is a Catholic educational institution of the Param Prasad Charitable Society (Reg. No. MS/2642/Satara) registered under the auspicious of MCBS Fathers of Satara-Solapur Mission of Kalyan diocese. MCBS is a religious congregation of Catholic priests working for the welfare of humanity after the model of Jesus Christ offering Himself on the cross and lives with us in the Most Holy Eucharist. They are working in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra and in different other parts of the world, for the emancipation of the oppressed and the underprivileged through educational, social, medical, cultural and spiritual ways.

Param Prasad Charitable Society is specifically concentrating its work in the two civil districts of Satara and Solapur. Mary Matha School is distinctly designed to help the educationally backward area of Mhaswad and nearby villages.

Mary Matha High School was started in the year 1993 and & Jr. College started in 2010. It is recognised by the Government of Maharashtra (School Reg. No. 21.06.054, College Reg. No. 21.06.016). It tries to bring out the best in every student through a sound, physical, intellectual, moral, spiritual, and social formation. We endeavour to develop refinement of manners, gentleness in language, habit of obedience, discipline and neatness in person by inculcating the values of justice, love, generosity, peace in and through curricular and co-curricular activities, along with the academic excellence. We prepare students to live as responsible citizens of tomorrow.
