About Mindseed and Foundree Thane

Our Thane community connects early childhood education and daycare with families in the Thane community. Local centres belong to the Mindseed and Foundree network, with individual centre arrangements reflecting their neighbourhood and programme.

We are part of the Mindseed and Foundree preschool and daycare community within the Wunderbar Kids Group. Our educational story is connected with Sushma Dhumal’s establishment of Vishwajyot High School in 2004 and the later development of early-years provision by Prasad and Amrut Dhumal. The shared direction is personalised learning: children differ in their interests, strengths and pace, and their first educational experiences should recognise those differences.

At Mindseed, the curriculum focuses on language, social and emotional development, physical skills and cognitive growth. Skill stations and practical activities allow children to explore, repeat and progress when ready. Reading, writing, numeracy, concentration and reasoning are developed through experiences designed for the foundation years. Observation and learning information help educators respond to the individual child rather than using one fixed pace for everyone.

Foundree shares an emphasis on exploration and the enjoyment of childhood. Collaboration, creativity, communication and critical thinking guide its educational approach. Children are encouraged to imagine, make choices and become more independent through activities that respect their developmental stage. Preschool and daycare bring learning and care together, recognising that relationships, routines and a sense of security are part of early development.

Parent communication is supported through the brands’ applications. Families can see moments of classroom learning, follow progress in important skills and find ideas for activities at home. This connection helps make a child’s learning visible beyond the centre. Our network spans communities in the Mumbai region and Pune, with local centres bringing the shared educational approach into different neighbourhoods. Across Mindseed and Foundree, we aim to give children a foundation of curiosity, confidence and growing independence while keeping families connected with their development.
