Modern Academy Vinay Khand

About Modern Academy Vinay Khand

We are Modern Academy, Vinay Khand, part of the Modern Academy school community in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Our campus is located in Vinay Khand 2, with a sister branch at Viram Khand 5. The wider Modern Academy institution was established in April 1999 and is managed by the Modern Group of Institutions. Our educational setting follows the ICSE and ISC tradition of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

The Modern Academy outlook connects academic learning with communication, leadership, discipline and creativity. We regard these as related aspects of a child’s development. A pupil needs opportunities to acquire knowledge, explain an idea, work with others and develop confidence through practice. Our institutional objectives also place importance on integrity and sound values. The school community therefore considers character and personal growth alongside subject understanding and formal assessment.

Our Vinay Khand provision includes the Nursery, LKG and UKG stages and primary and middle-school learning. These stages involve different kinds of development. The earliest years establish language, familiarity with school and ways of learning through activity. Primary education builds increasingly independent reading, writing, mathematical and digital understanding. Middle-school subject work introduces greater depth and more specialised academic expectations. This progression gives the school a varied daily life, bringing younger learners and pupils developing more independent study habits into the same community.

Within the wider Modern Academy educational programme, science and computing, library use, audio-visual learning and music contribute to the range of experiences available to pupils. Regular worksheets, assignments and tests support practice and the consolidation of understanding. Creative activities provide other ways for children to express what they know and discover interests beyond written work. Our Vinay Khand campus carries this educational outlook into its own Gomti Nagar setting. We aim to provide continuity between academic preparation and the development of confidence, responsibility and self-expression. The school’s local identity and its relationship with the wider Modern Academy community together shape an education built around sustained learning and personal growth.
