We are Modern English Academy in Barrackpore, an English-medium co-educational school with higher-secondary classes. We began in April 1998 under the Barrackpore Park Road Christian Education Society to provide a secondary pathway for children completing their primary education at Modern School. Our founding educational leadership included Enid Isaac. We maintain science laboratories, computer-study facilities and a library. Our approach values the individual child and discourages unhealthy competition between peers. We combine classroom work with opportunities for individual guidance and use digital assessment alongside regular assignments. Our school seeks academic progress within a disciplined and supportive learning environment.
Our institutional base is in Barrackpore, West Bengal, India. Our educational and professional work is connected with the learners and families served by this campus.
