We are North-Ex Public School, a school community in Rohini, Delhi, with campuses associated with Sectors 3, 8 and 38. Our educational work is managed by Shree Mahavir Jain Shiksha Trust and follows the CBSE pathway. The North-Ex community developed from the early 1990s and provides continuity from the early school years towards senior-secondary study. Our purpose combines academic development with cultural values, creativity and the confidence to participate in a wider world.
Digital learning has a defined place in our approach. Smart-classroom development began in 2012, with projectors, computer systems and interactive software supporting classroom work. These resources are used across subjects including languages, mathematics, science and social studies. We see technology as one means of making ideas accessible and giving children additional ways to engage with a concept, alongside discussion, explanation and practical activity.
Our educational environment includes laboratories, library provision and spaces for creative and physical participation. The wider programme encompasses NCC, Scouts and Guides, exhibitions, competitions, arts and sport. These experiences give pupils opportunities to practise organisation, take responsibility and work as part of a group. Learning is also connected with the community through educational excursions and activities that encourage awareness of the world outside the classroom.
The Sector 3 school is located at G-27, Rohini, while the Sector 38 senior-secondary branch is in Jain Nagar. Together with the Sector 8 provision, these locations connect the school’s identity with several Rohini neighbourhoods.
School events bring these different strands together. Artex provides a setting for working models and student projects, while cultural programmes make room for performance and collective expression. Learning-progress meetings connect families with children’s work and development. Our Rohini campuses are part of a shared educational identity, although the arrangements and facilities of individual branches can differ. Across the community, our aim is to combine a structured academic pathway with opportunities for curiosity, communication and personal growth, helping pupils develop both knowledge and the confidence to use it.
