Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is an Institution of National Importance established by the Government of India through an Act of Parliament. Located at Jais in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, the institute is dedicated to education, research, innovation, and skill development in petroleum, energy, engineering, science, and allied disciplines. RGIPT operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and has additional campuses in Bengaluru and Sivasagar.
