About RNS Vidyaniketan II

We are Bunts’ Sangha RNS Vidyaniketan at Yelachaguppe, Bengaluru, extending the educational work of RNS Vidyaniketan to communities around Tavarekere and Magadi Road. Our campus occupies approximately ten acres and forms part of an institutional tradition that began in 1991. The Yelachaguppe setting brings that experience into a newer campus environment, connecting local families with the group’s emphasis on academic learning, personal attention and all-round development.

Our shared educational philosophy recognises that every learner matters. Children develop at different rates and bring different interests to school, so education involves understanding the individual as well as organising a curriculum. Academic study is connected with physical, mental and moral growth. The principle of service before self gives this approach a social dimension, asking learners to consider how their knowledge and actions relate to other people.

Value education, yoga and newspaper-based learning are part of the wider RNS Vidyaniketan educational approach. These experiences connect personal awareness, current events and everyday conduct with formal study. A newspaper discussion can bring a classroom subject into contact with the wider world; yoga provides a setting for attention and physical awareness; values-based reflection encourages thought about choices and responsibilities. Together, they broaden the ways in which pupils engage with education.

Our Yelachaguppe campus is part of a wider institution whose educational provision includes recognised school and pre-university pathways. The ten-acre setting gives this branch a distinct physical identity, while the shared philosophy provides continuity with the established Vijayanagar community. We see the relationship between campus, curriculum and personal development as central to school life. Academic understanding grows through lessons and practice, but confidence and social awareness also develop through the experience of belonging to a community. Our purpose is to create an environment in which children can develop their potential, build habits for continued learning and understand that individual achievement carries responsibilities towards the people around them.
