S.A. Jain Senior Model School, Ambala City occupies an important position among the prestigious institutions. This institute was founded by our great saint Punjab Kesri Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Ji Maharaj at Gujranwala. It was in the year 1926, the auspicious day of Basant Panchami when this school came into existence in the form of Shri Atmanand Jain Gurukul. This was a tribute to the Great Jain Guru His Holiness Late Acharya Shri Vijayanand Surishware Ji Maharaj who said " Illiteracy can be removed from the nation by establishing Vidya Mandir throughout the country. Sh. Atmanand Jain Gurukul was later on reestablished in 1954 as S.A. Jain Sr. Model School and got affiliated to C.B.S.E.., New Delhi.

In 2004, the school celebrated its Golden Jubilee with great zeal and fervor. With the blessings of our revered Gurus, the school is scaling new heights with each passing year. The school adopts Activity Oriented techniques to teach the young minds. The school, located in the heart of the city is easily approachable. Scholastic and Non scholastic areas are paid attention to in a balanced way . All the modern facilities provided the school help children to broaden their horizon in the fast advancing world of today. School is committed to provided quality education to the children for their over all development. S.A.Jain Sr. Model School is managed by Gurukul Punjab Educational Society, (Gujranwala) Ambala City.
