About Us

  1. Sainik Schools are residential schools established with the primary aim of preparing cadets academically, physically & mentally for providing a career in the Armed Forces through entry into the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY AND INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY. These schools are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The other objectives of the scheme are:
  2. (a) To remove regional imbalances in the Officer cadre of the Defence Services.
  3. (b) To develop qualities of body, mind and character which enable the young boys of today to become good and useful citizens of tomorrow.
  4. (c) To bring Public School Education within the reach of the common man.

VISION

SS Kalikiri envisions itself a world class reputed organisation in school education committed to continually empowering masters to actualise inside out synergy in cadets and enable them to fulfil futuristic need of the defence services in a way of preparing them for the task and promoter as a feeder institution to the defence academies.

MISSION

To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of education and training. To initiate and promote well being among cadets to achieve exacting standards of discipline, moral and ethical values and for emphasising all round development of cadets by making them self reliant, physically tough, mentally agile and emotionally poised.

The overall administration, supervision and control of the Sainik School Society will rest with a body called the Board of Governors, Sainik schools.

NEW ADMISSIONS

Admission to Class VI & IX is granted strictly on the basis of an All India Entrance Examination which is conducted simultaneously at various centres throughout India in the month of January.
