SD Vidya School is seeking a passionate and skilled Primary English Teacher (PRT) to teach English to students in grades I to V. The ideal candidate should foster a love for language and literature in young learners while building strong foundational reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives
2. Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and spoken English
3. Design activities to enhance phonics, storytelling, reading fluency, and sentence formation
4. Use age-appropriate teaching aids, storytelling, games, and visual materials to aid comprehension
5. Encourage participation and curiosity through interactive and student-centric teaching methods
6. Monitor and assess students’ progress through worksheets, assignments, and class participation
7. Maintain student records, prepare report cards, and participate in parent-teacher meetings
8. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all learners
9. Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school events, workshops, and training sessions
10. Follow the academic calendar and institutional policies with professionalism

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Graduate/Postgraduate in English with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (as per CBSE norms)
2. Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience at the primary level
3. Excellent command over spoken and written English
4. Strong understanding of child pedagogy and early literacy methods
5. Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about teaching young learners
6. Good classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
