About St. Mary’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School Porur
We are St. Mary’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Porur, Chennai. Our school is located at 45, Vigneshwara Nagar, Porur 600116. We are part of the local matriculation school community, with education extending from the primary years to the secondary and higher secondary stages. The Porur campus has served the area since 1986.
Our academic provision includes the broad learning of primary education and subject study in the later school years. Social Science forms part of the Class X programme, while Biology is among the subjects taught at Class XII. Physical education is another part of the school setting, connecting academic study with movement and participation.
Our identity is rooted in this Porur location and in the continuity of a school that supports children through several stages of education. The journey from primary learning to higher secondary study allows foundational skills to develop into more focused subject understanding as pupils prepare for the next stage of their education.
