About Suchitra Academy

We are Suchitra Academy, an educational community at Suchitra Junction in Hyderabad. Our campus has a distinctive history: land associated with the Suchitra Electronics family later housed an ICFAI engineering institution before becoming the setting for the school envisioned by Praveen Raju. That history connects our present learning environment with a longer association with education and enterprise. We combine Indian and international academic pathways within a campus designed to give children space to study, investigate, play and develop their individual interests.

Our academic provision includes the CBSE pathway from Classes I to XII and Cambridge programmes at primary and lower-secondary levels, alongside international early-years learning. These pathways recognise different stages in children’s development. Early experiences establish language, relationships and curiosity; primary learning develops increasingly secure concepts; older students move towards more specialised subject knowledge. Project-based learning is an important part of our educational identity, encouraging learners to connect ideas and investigate questions rather than simply reproduce information.

Our five-acre campus includes extensive built learning space as well as outdoor areas. The school environment brings together classrooms, laboratories, library resources and facilities for sport and creative activity. This variety matters to the way children experience the school day: reading and discussion can be followed by investigation, physical practice or work with materials. We see the campus as a resource for different forms of learning, with academic work supported by opportunities for expression, collaboration and purposeful activity.

We place value on the relationship between learning and the learner. Children are encouraged to develop independence while receiving guidance appropriate to their stage. Communication, problem solving and the ability to work with others have a place alongside subject knowledge. Our combination of CBSE and Cambridge education gives the school a broad academic outlook, while the Suchitra campus remains a shared community. We aim to make education an experience in which intellectual development, wellbeing, curiosity and participation strengthen one another throughout a child’s school years.
