About Sunbeam School Lahartara

We are Sunbeam School Lahartara in Varanasi, a coeducational CBSE school with senior secondary provision. We belong to the Sunbeam educational community, whose history in Varanasi began in 1972. Our school combines academic study with a wider view of education as a positive influence on children’s development. The current recruitment includes a PGT Mathematics teacher and a Hostel Mess Manager, two very different contributions to the same school community. Mathematics teaching supports subject depth and reasoned problem solving, while mess management supports the daily food service on which residential pupils depend. For the mess appointment, we prefer experience in kitchen operations, food quality, hygiene, inventory and staff supervision. Work within our school community

For PGT Maths, our work centres on mathematical reasoning and accurate problem solving.

• Build understanding of number, algebra, geometry and measurement at the level of the class, making the reasoning behind a method visible.
• Use worked examples and carefully sequenced questions to distinguish a conceptual misunderstanding from a calculation error.
• Connect symbolic work with diagrams, patterns and everyday quantities, then help learners explain how they reached an answer.

For Mess Manager, our work centres on keeping educational operations, records and coordination organised.

• Coordinate the administrative tasks allocated to the post, maintaining a clear view of priorities, dependencies and pending actions.
• Keep records and supporting documents complete, accessible and accurate, with suitable care for confidential information.
• Follow up requests with academic, office and external contacts so that practical arrangements are completed on time.
