The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education

We are the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, commonly known as IFHE, in Hyderabad. Established as a deemed-to-be university in December 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, we bring together professional education and research across several fields. Our campus is located at Donthanapally on Shankarapalli Road, providing the setting for a university community with interests in management, technology, law, architecture and the social sciences.

Our constituent academic units include ICFAI Business School, ICFAI Tech School, ICFAI Law School, ICFAI School of Architecture and ICFAI School of Social Sciences. Distance and online education extend the ways in which learners can engage with selected programmes. Undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral pathways are part of our academic structure, while an off-campus centre in Bengaluru adds another location to our institutional presence.

ICFAI Tech School connects engineering and computing education with scientific study. Its programmes include computer science and engineering and specialised areas associated with artificial intelligence, data science, cloud computing and cyber security. Alongside engineering degrees, the wider technology offering includes computer applications and science programmes. These subjects sit within a university that also examines the organisational, legal and societal dimensions of technological change.

Research is supported through seminars, conferences, collaborative projects and centres concerned with specific areas of inquiry. Our institutional profile describes work in fields ranging from finance and digital transformation to intellectual property, sustainability, robotics and advanced manufacturing. Management education also draws on case-based learning and engagement with business practice. Across these activities, our emphasis is on connecting disciplinary knowledge with practical questions. We aim to provide an environment in which students can develop subject understanding, undertake scholarly work and examine problems that cross the boundaries of a single academic field.
