In this leadership role, the selected candidate will play a pivotal part in shaping and implementing the school’s academic vision. The academic leader will be responsible for mentoring teachers, overseeing lesson planning, evaluating instructional strategies, and ensuring alignment with international standards. They will also contribute to strategic planning, academic audits, and policy development, thereby fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic leadership by guiding teachers in planning, instruction, and assessments.
Supervise curriculum implementation and ensure compliance with international frameworks.
Conduct teacher training and professional development workshops.
Monitor classroom practices and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with the school management team to set academic goals and performance benchmarks.
Maintain strong communication with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress.
Drive innovative practices in teaching and learning, integrating technology where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduation or Post-Graduation in any discipline, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
Proven experience in academic leadership or senior teaching roles, preferably in international schools.
Strong understanding of global educational practices and curriculum standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team of educators.
