École Globale International Girls’ School, a prestigious fully residential institution in Dehradun affiliated with the Cambridge International Curriculum, invites applications for the position of History Faculty. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic educator who has prior exposure to teaching the Cambridge curriculum (AS & A Level) and can inspire students with innovative teaching practices and strong subject expertise.
Position: History Faculty (Cambridge – AS & A Level)
Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand
Type: Full-time, Residential preferred
Qualifications & Eligibility:
Master’s degree in History or a closely related field from a recognized university.
A B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is desirable.
Must have prior teaching experience in Cambridge International Curriculum (AS & A Level mandatory).
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in reputed schools/institutes.
Experience & Skills:
Strong command over modern teaching methodologies suited for international curricula.
Ability to plan lessons, assignments, and assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to engage students in critical thinking, analysis, and historical perspectives.
Familiarity with digital learning platforms and blended teaching methods.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Teach History at AS & A Level, ensuring effective syllabus coverage and conceptual clarity.
Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and assessment tools in line with Cambridge guidelines.
Encourage students to connect historical concepts with contemporary global issues.
Conduct regular evaluations, provide feedback, and guide students toward academic excellence.
Participate actively in co-curricular, cultural, and intellectual activities of the school.
Collaborate with peers to uphold École Globale’s academic standards and ethos.
