Job Title: Assistant Professor – Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary:

Carmel College of Engineering & Technology invites applications from motivated and qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering. The candidate should possess a strong academic background, enthusiasm for teaching, and a dedication to fostering educational excellence and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in core Mechanical Engineering subjects.
  • Develop and update curriculum as per university and industry standards.
  • Guide and mentor undergraduate projects and support students’ academic growth.
  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and other departmental activities.
  • Conduct research, publish in reputable journals, and contribute to academic knowledge.
  • Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects and contribute to department development.

Eligibility:

  • M.Tech/M.E. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Teaching and/or industry experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated research or publications are advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in modern teaching tools.
