Position: Career Counselor
Grade Levels: 7 to 10
Location: Mulund & Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Role Overview:
The Career Counselor will play a crucial role in guiding middle and high school students in their academic planning, subject selection, and career exploration. The role demands a professional with a strong psychology background who can support students in understanding their strengths, interests, and potential career paths.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct career guidance sessions and workshops for students from Grades 7 to 10.
Assist students in identifying their aptitudes and aligning them with academic and career opportunities.
Guide students in subject selection to ensure alignment with future academic and career goals.
Provide counseling support to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
Organize interactions with universities, professionals, and industry experts for student exposure.
Maintain individual student records and track their progress in career exploration.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to create a supportive ecosystem for career development.
Update students and parents about higher education trends, scholarship opportunities, and emerging career fields.
Qualifications & Experience:
A postgraduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related fields is required.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a school counselor or career guidance professional.
Strong understanding of educational and career pathways both in India and abroad.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to conduct group workshops as well as one-on-one counseling sessions.
