Education
Keeping the class size very manageable to ensure effective academic tutoring and relationship building, our smart classrooms, are happy spaces. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive board. Each class maintains and runs its own class library, in addition to accessing the main library. Leadership, healthy exchange of views, responsibility for action are encouraged through circle time activities. More focus is on intra-class activities and class wise assemblies to promote 100% participation of students.
Students learn by doing, by breaking barriers of inhibition and trusting those around them. The school actively participates in Inter – SMPS events, inter- school events and invites other schools as well for various competitions. Students are encouraged to participate in Olympiads, Aryabhatta, NTSE, ASSET and other competitions. Tours, visit to heritage sites, museums, exhibitions etc. are a regular feature of the school’s curriculum. From learning in classrooms, to learning on a sports field; from learning in an art workshop to learning social skills; from learning musical instruments to learning sustainable development; our students have opportunities to develop as socially aware, academically proficient and holistically healthy
members of society, able to contribute positively in whatever area they choose. Believing co-curricular exposure to be an essential component of wholesome growth of our children, especially in areas of cultural refreshment and aesthetics, we host a rich canvas of cultural activities throughout the session. The school aspires to look after its differently abled children through the services of alearning centre called G. R. A. S. P. (Growth Remediation And Support Programme) offering services of special educators
- The Enrolment in society’s schools is strictly conditional on the part of the parents and pupils agreeing to will comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
- All such lapses on the part of the pupil like irregularity in attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or such conduct that is incompatible to the norms of the school are sufficient grounds for striking off the name of such a student from the rolls of the school. Further 80% attendance is minimum requirement for a people to be eligible for appearing in the final examination and consideration for promotion there of.
- The Reports on General Progress shall be provided to Parents on a quarterly basis along with the viewing of examination papers to enable parents to assess the performance and identify areas of improvements of their wards.
- Promotion is considered on the basis of whole year’s performance of the pupil. Hence it is all the more important that the pupil attends school regularly. The decision of the school authorities with regard to the promotion to the next class shall be complete and final.
- School diary is an important communication channel through which important information is conveyed to the parents. The Pupil is expected to carry the School diary every day without fail. Parents are required to sign the diary on a daily basis to confirm their acknowledgement of the information conveyed by the school.
- Students should carry freshly prepared nutritious meals in their tiffin boxes along with a fruit. Junk Food like Chips, Biscuits, pastries, samosa, stale food, pickle etc is not permissible and will be removed from the student’s tiffin
- The pupil is expected to consciously avoid wearing school uniform after school hours outside the school premises. Any pupil found breaching this rule would be liable for expulsion from the school.
- Any pupil found in possession of such literature or material that the school authorities consider objectionable, such act may lead to suspension of the pupil for the current academic session
- Three late entriesin the diary in a month will lead to the student being sent back home. If he/ she islate for the fourth time, then the student will be marked absent.
- Before sending their wards to school, parents are expected to check that they are well groomed. Any tardiness with regards to the uniform or the appearance of the pupil may require pupil to be turned back from the school.
- All the pupils are expected to respect the ideology, principles, norms and rules of the institution. Any deliberate and wilful breach of the above shall attract severest of action against the offending pupil.
