Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting comprehensive chess coaching sessions for students of all ages and skill levels. The role involves fostering a positive learning environment where students can develop their chess abilities, enhance critical thinking, and cultivate sportsmanship. The Chess Coach will also play a pivotal role in preparing students for various inter-school and national chess competitions, encouraging their participation and performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and deliver engaging chess lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Develop training programs that improve students’ tactical and strategic understanding of chess.
Mentor and guide students for competitive chess tournaments and events.
Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and confidence.
Promote chess as a valuable educational tool that enhances analytical skills and concentration.
Collaborate with teachers and school management to integrate chess activities into the overall extracurricular program.
Maintain an organized schedule of classes and manage chess resources effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Chess Coach or in a related role, preferably in an educational setting.
