Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications) is mandatory
- B.Ed. qualification is required
Experience:
- Prior teaching experience in English-medium schools at the senior secondary level is essential
- Experience in delivering both theoretical and practical computer science content to senior school students is preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science / Information Technology for higher classes
- Develop curriculum-aligned lesson plans incorporating programming, IT fundamentals, software tools, and emerging technologies
- Conduct lab sessions, practical assessments, and project-based learning activities
- Guide students in coding, data structures, database management, and ethical computing practices
- Stay updated with the latest educational technologies and incorporate them into classroom teaching
- Prepare students for internal assessments, board exams, and inter-school competitions
- Maintain discipline and encourage curiosity in the field of computer education
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary tech-based projects and school events
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and performance
Key Skills:
- Fluency in English communication – verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of computer languages (Python, Java, etc.), databases, networking, and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
- Classroom management and interpersonal skills
- A positive, innovative, and student-focused approach
