Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society was set up in the memory of Late Shri Jagannath Gupta. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and is a not-for-profit society. Ever since its beginning, the Society has dedicated itself to the cause of providing quality education in various professional spheres. It set up its first educational institution, Jagan Institute of Management Studies, in 1993.

In this manner the Society has achieved a complete integration in education offering opportunities to the students right from graduate level to Ph.D level. The Society is providing educational services mainly in the areas of management, information technology, engineering, architecture, law, journalism, fashion and information designing, physiotherapy etc. At present, the Society has a combined strength of more than 10000 students and more than 600 faculty members. All these educational institutions are duly approved and accredited by and affiliated to respective statutory bodies such as AICTE, UGC, AIU, NBA, State Governments, and the universities. These institutions are well known among all stakeholders for quality education, decent infrastructure, location and placements. These institutions are rated and ranked very high by various magazines, newspapers and industry associations.
