Currently, TMU is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for faculty positions in the field of Jainology. This recruitment is under the Centre of Jain Studies – a dedicated academic and research unit focused on preserving and promoting Jain heritage, thought, and ethics.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • As per UGC norms
  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Jainology or a related field such as religious studies, philosophy, or cultural heritage.
  • Applicants should have a strong academic background, demonstrated research capabilities, and ideally, published works in relevant areas.
  • Prior teaching and curriculum development experience will be an added advantage.
  • For the Director position, leadership experience in religious or philosophical education institutes is desirable.

About Jainology Programs at TMU:

TMU offers undergraduate (BA), postgraduate (MA), and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs in Jainology. The department emphasizes moral education, comparative religious studies, and in-depth research into Jain literature and ethics. The programs aim to develop scholarly expertise and preserve the cultural and philosophical richness of Jainism.
