Job Overview:
We are hiring a passionate English Facilitator to support holistic learning for children at our Devarachikkanahalli center in J.P. Nagar. This role involves designing and delivering engaging English language learning sessions aligned with the child-centric philosophy of Makkala Jagriti.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate English language sessions for children using interactive, activity-based methods.
- Promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills development through innovative practices.
- Support children’s holistic development including cognitive, emotional, and social aspects.
- Collaborate with facilitators and coordinators to align lesson planning and objectives.
- Maintain records of children's progress and provide regular feedback.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive learning space that encourages curiosity and creativity.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Social Work, or relevant field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in teaching or facilitating sessions with children.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with children from underserved communities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with child-centric or experiential learning methods.
- Fluency in Kannada is an added advantage.
