Positions Available:


English Teacher (Grades 10, 11, 12): We are looking for an experienced and passionate English teacher to instruct senior secondary students. The ideal candidate should possess strong language skills and the ability to engage students effectively in literature, grammar, and communication skills to help improve their proficiency and confidence.


Social Studies Teacher: This role requires an educator skilled in teaching social studies subjects including history, geography, civics, and related disciplines. The teacher should be adept at making the subject matter relevant and interesting to students and encourage critical thinking and awareness about society and current events.


Accountancy Teacher: Candidates must be proficient in accountancy principles and practices for senior secondary level students. The teacher will help students grasp complex financial concepts, practical accounting skills, and prepare them for academic examinations.


Economics Teacher: The economics teacher will deliver lessons covering micro and macroeconomics, economic theories, and applications to equip students with analytical and problem-solving skills essential for their academic success.


Business Studies Teacher: This position requires expertise in business management principles, entrepreneurship, and organizational studies. The teacher will engage students with real-world business scenarios and prepare them for further education and competitive exams.


Front Office Staff: We are also looking for professional front office staff to manage daily administrative tasks, provide excellent communication support, and create a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, and visitors.


Qualifications & Skills:

The Bhavan-Bangalore Press School was set up in 2010 jointly by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and The Bangalore Press. The school is recently set up in the Chamarajpet area on Mysore Road, in a locality, predominantly housing an economically weaker section of society,and is a melting pot of people from several religions – Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jain and others. Thus, the school has children from varied economic, cultural strata of the society. The school has the objective of providing education to children, irrespective of any social, economic, cultural barrier and the mission of uplifting children from the lower starata of society and integrating into the mainstream of society.

The school is managed by a public Charitable Trust formed under the name of “Bhavan-Bangalore Press Educational Trust (Regd.)”. The land (about 26,000 sq.ft) and part of the building cost for the school is provided by the Bangalore Press and the building of the school is being constructed with a small available amount of money, which came from donations from individual, philanthropists and corporates, The architectural plan of the school building includes, basement, ground plus four floors.

The school will have two sections from Nursery to Class X and will be an English medium, co-educational school proposed to be affiliated to the CBSE Board. The school was formally inaugurated by Padmashri Late Dr. Mathoor Krishnamurti in June 2010 and started with a humble beginning of about 15 students during the first academic year & 200 students during the second academic year. 2014-15, the fourth academic year has a students strength of 714 students.
