Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for middle and/or high school students as per ICSE standards.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with ICSE curriculum and objectives.
- Foster a classroom environment conducive to active learning and respectful interaction.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through periodic tests, assignments, and class participation.
- Participate actively in school activities, including academic events, parent-teacher meetings, and training workshops.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and literature-based instruction to improve student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English or related field.
- A B.Ed. degree (mandatory) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in an ICSE-affiliated school is preferred.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with modern teaching aids and classroom technology.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience teaching English in an ICSE or other recognized board.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and adaptable educator with a deep understanding of student learning needs.
- Candidates with strong literary background or involvement in school literary activities (debates, drama, etc.) will be given preference.
