Job Description: Facility Manager at Delhi Public School, Nadergul
Delhi Public School, Nadergul, is seeking a qualified and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of the school’s physical infrastructure and facilities. The Facility Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports the school’s educational mission and enhances the overall experience for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations and maintenance of school facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, sports areas, administrative offices, and grounds.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of all facilities and equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong the life of school assets.
Oversee security arrangements, safety protocols, and emergency preparedness plans to ensure a secure environment for all school occupants.
Manage facility-related budgets, procurement of supplies, and record-keeping for maintenance activities.
Collaborate with school leadership to plan and execute infrastructure projects, renovations, and expansions as needed.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Lead and supervise the facilities team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
Eligibility Criteria:
A bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in managing facilities in educational institutions or similar environments.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, vendors, and projects efficiently.
Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in facility management.
