Sir Issac Newton College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2010 to promote the cause of higher education to needy people. The institution has started with 5 UG programs such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering with 60 intakes. Facilities were gradually planned to introduce 3 UG programs such Agriculture Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Engineering programs and Information Technology introduced in the year 2019-2020 and 2022-2023 respectively with the surrendering of civil and electrical and electronics Engineering. The 4 PG Programs in power systems, applied electronics, Manufacturing engineering, and computer science and engineering were started in the year 2010. Ph.D. Programs were introduced in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2017 onwards. It is located near the National Highway in a sprawling campus of more than 11 acres. The College is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institution was recognized by IAF-ISO 9001-2015 certification in the year 2022. The institution has recognized with 2(f) under UGC act, 1956. The management extends its fabulous support in designing the institution with modern teaching facilities and modern architecture buildings, giving a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere. The eco-friendly ambiance creates a healthy learning atmosphere. The infrastructure includes a state of art computer laboratory with servers and internet facilities and multi-disciplinary workstations that provide hands-on experience to our engineering students.
