Role Description
This is a contract remote role for an Financial Literacy Teacher to teach live classes. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Financial Literacy Teacher to conduct engaging and interactive online sessions for kids aged 8–12. You’ll help children develop money smarts through games, stories, real-life scenarios, and hands-on activities. Tasks also include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and communicating with parents.
Responsibilities
- Teach live online financial literacy classes for kids aged 8–12.
- Use age-appropriate language and examples to simplify money concepts.
- Design age-appropriate, fun, and skill-building lesson plans.
- Deliver the curriculum in a fun, relatable, and interactive way.
- Encourage participation and discussion among students.
- Provide feedback and motivate kids to think critically and creatively.
- Collaborate with the Zuzu curriculum team to continuously improve class content.
- Conduct Demo Classes: Conduct demo classes to interested parents to showcase the capability of the Financial Literacy course.
Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English skills; clear, patient, and animated in class delivery.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and money management.
- Experience teaching or working with children (online preferred).
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into kid-friendly explanations.
- Confident, clear, and engaging communication skills.
- Prior experience teaching children (preferably online).
- Energetic, engaging, and child-friendly communication style.
- Reliable internet connection and comfort using digital teaching tools.
- Ability to manage a virtual classroom with enthusiasm and patience.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching children (online teaching experience is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Comfortable with Zoom or similar video conferencing tools; able to manage digital learning materials.
- Availability: Able to teach multiple live sessions weekly - atleast 6 hrs commitment/week (flexible scheduling possible).
