Head of Department – World Languages (Specialization in IBDP French)
Location:
GSIS Campus, Ooty, Tamil Nadu
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in French or related field
- B.Ed or equivalent teacher certification is preferred
- IB-recognized training or diploma in IBDP curriculum
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in French (preferably in an IBDP or international school environment)
- Proven leadership experience in managing a language department
- Familiarity with IBDP assessment patterns and curriculum planning
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the French language curriculum for IBDP
- Plan and execute innovative lessons aligned with IB standards
- Guide and mentor language faculty members
- Contribute to extracurricular initiatives and international programs
- Facilitate student development through interactive teaching methods
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of IB philosophy
- Ability to collaborate within multicultural academic teams
