Job Description:
Amity School Dubai is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Foundation to lead and oversee the early years foundation stage. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping the academic and developmental success of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Foundation Stage curriculum and ensure its alignment with the school’s educational objectives.
- Lead a team of early years educators, supporting them in delivering high academic standards and effective teaching practices.
- Ensure all academic deliverables are met in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment conducive to the holistic development of young learners.
- Collaborate with school leadership to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the foundation program and implement enhancements as required.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching and leadership experience in early years/foundation stage.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in international schools (preferably in the UAE) is an added advantage.
