As part of our expansion and academic leadership focus, we are hiring a qualified and experienced Head of Physics to lead our department.

Role Summary:

The Head of Physics will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in the Physics Department by guiding curriculum design, leading teaching staff, and inspiring academic rigor. This leadership position calls for a dynamic educator with a strategic mindset, deep subject knowledge, and demonstrated experience in departmental leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of the Physics curriculum from middle to senior school (up to PGT level)
  • Mentor and support the professional development of Physics faculty
  • Monitor and improve academic performance within the department
  • Collaborate with school leadership for curriculum integration and interdisciplinary planning
  • Ensure timely assessments, resource management, and effective classroom delivery
  • Promote a culture of innovation, discipline, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Physics or equivalent specialization
  • B.Ed. is mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years of Physics teaching experience in the UAE, preferably up to PGT level
  • Demonstrated leadership or department head experience
  • Expertise in curriculum planning, team coordination, and instructional design
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
