Delhi Public School Nacharam, a prestigious CBSE-affiliated institution in Hyderabad, is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary Headmistress for the Early Years (Pre-Primary Section). This role is ideal for passionate leaders who have a deep understanding of early childhood education and a proven ability to lead and inspire teachers while fostering a nurturing and joyful learning environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and administrative leadership for the Pre-Primary wing (Nursery to UKG).
- Ensure the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum in line with modern early childhood pedagogical approaches.
- Guide and supervise early years teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and child-centric methodologies.
- Oversee daily operations of the Early Years section, including scheduling, teacher coordination, and parent engagement.
- Monitor teaching effectiveness through regular observations and feedback, ensuring high standards of classroom delivery.
- Organize and lead professional development workshops for Pre-Primary faculty.
- Create and implement initiatives to support the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.
- Foster a warm and inclusive environment for students, parents, and staff.
- Build strong parent-school partnerships through regular communication and participation in school events.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE and institutional guidelines on early childhood education practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory; a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field will be an advantage.
- Montessori/NTT/ECCE certification is desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
- At least 3–5 years of leadership experience in a reputed school as a Pre-Primary Coordinator, Supervisor, or Headmistress.
- Candidates with prior experience in reputed CBSE or international schools will be preferred.
